Read this from a USAID worker

Maybe these people should focus on getting another job rather than whining about being fired. Guess they're just not capable.

Are you not concerned that USAID was enacted by Congress and now shut down by Elon Musk? So there is waste in this agency, so the solution is not address the waste and stop it, it is to shut down the entire agency which is clearly against the Constitution.

Isn't the plan to downsized it and move it over to the State Department where many believes it belongs in the first place?

No, I am not concerned.

You're a sociopath. Thankfully, a dumb one. The smart ones are dangerous.
😂 😂 😂 😂 Too funny. Because I think cutting unnecessary jobs and government waste is a good thing, I'm a sociopath. Got it. You're really in looney land out in CA or HI, or wherever the hell you are. The woke, big government worm has corrupted your mind.

Re-read your first post in this thread.

People responded to the way you did not care at all about funding being cut off to help these people evacuate and find alternative housing, and implied they were not capable of finding another job.

You can have your view on policy, and think we should ensure those who are working overseas can be brought home in a safe and orderly fashion.

businesses lose customers every week and employees then get cut. When those businesses lose that funding nobody cries. Any of us can work at a business who loses customers tomorrow and doesn’t have the funds to pay us. Or our jobs can just become obsolete. Why are we so upset about it happening in government and never make a stink about it in the private sector. How many newspaper routes are gone across the country. I missed the outrage on that. The TwitterGuy didn’t care enough to post about it?

Don’t twist this into something it’s not. The government sends people to work all across the world. It’s fine to cut the funding, but bring them home first.

If your employer sent me to the Congo for a long term, and then fired you without clarification / instruction on how I get back to America or help with relocation, that would be pretty f’d up.

cut the programs, whatever… but do so in an orderly fashion and consider the consequences of just cutting funding rapidly. Really not too much much to ask.
