Reached out to one of my sources this morning to see what he had to say.
- SHU is very strong with 2019 St. Pats Combo Guard Al Amir-Dawes, but I think we all pretty much knew that already. He's having a strong year and would be a solid get but I think his composite ranking (3 stars, #154 nationally) is more accurate than his 247 Sports ranking (4 stars, #74 nationally)
- SHU is showing increased interest in Glen Falls 2019 PG Joseph Girard. Girard is an electric player with big time scoring ability and is more of a combo guard than a pure point guard. Boston College is in strong right now, but he is still open to all new schools
- Paul Mulcahy will probably stay relatively local unless a school like Notre Dame offers. Boston College and Rutgers are in strong right now. SHU less so but he is still interested
- Scottie Lewis and Bryan Antoine are major Florida leans at this point, but still early. Could come down to what school pulls the trigger on Mike Rice.
- SHU's top target for 2019 may be 4-star center Kofi Cockburn, but he has really blown up in the past few months and will be a tough get. Having Romaro Gill will help but its going to be a battle
- Both SHU and RU are strong for 2018/2019 forward Aundre Hyatt
