New York, N.Y. -- Senior guard Kadary Richmond (Brooklyn, N.Y.) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after averaging 16 points, 6.5 rebounds five steals and 4.5 assists in a 2-0 week for the Seton Hall men's basketball team.
This is Richmond's third BIG EAST weekly accolade of his career.
Richmond led the Pirates in scoring in both games. He stuffed the stat sheet in the season opening victory over Saint Peter's, scoring 18 points, six rebounds, seven assists and six steals. Richmond's six steals was the most for a Pirate in a season opener since 2007 when Paul Gause recorded eight steals vs. Monmouth. Richmond followed that up with a 14-point, seven-rebound and four-steal performance in a 85-55 dispatching of FDU on Saturday.
Seton Hall (2-0) will be back at Prudential Center for two games this week as the Pirates host Abany at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday before facing Wagner at 12 p.m. on Saturday.
