The tourney wanted them to have an afternoon game on Saturday, might be he Love Van's last game together!!
CBS got Kansas-Arkansas in prime time and SJU late in prime time.
CBS probably wanted the Providence and Denver games. Since they have the first two viewing windows, it had to be Providence for those two games.
Turner apparently preferred the Lexington games in the late slots on TBS.
If anybody remembers 2004, we played the last game at our pod site on Thursday and then had the early tip-off on Saturday.

Ruined the game flow. I hate when crews make a 2nd half correction. The Richmond foul out call was abysmal.
Not Pitino's best coaching job today. No idea why you have your defense play out on Arky's guards when they're bigger & faster than you AND they can't shoot the ball well. All of their offense came in the paint, no adjustments.

No tears from me. St. John's is Seton Hall's biggest rival, we should never root for them.
SJU was a good team this year but they played in a weak league. That led to their inflated record and seed. Truly more like a 4-seed. Arkansas played in the best league and that prepared them well.
