OK the Iowa caucus and the NH primaries are coming up soon. Of course we all know what a Primary is, but what the hell is a Caucus. How does it work and how are the votes determined?

With all the news coverage on the primary you would think one network would allocate time to explain it. I'll have to resort to wiki since I don't know. Considering Iowa gets it wrong most times not sure how material those two states are...SC becomes more of a defining primary.

If you watched the Good Wife, you would have seen the Iowa caucus system in action. Antiquated to say the least. Caucus should never be confused with cactus. Both are health hazards though.
