Team is god awful, but as a coach he’s closer to his players and I don’t think he wanted to blast his players on his last post game talk.

It isn’t surprising to hear him publicly say this. Off the record, I’m sure he’ll be the first to tell you how horrid this team is/was.

I heard him admit it was broken this conference and last one.

I also don’t think he protected his players. Sha did not name names but he said plenty that these guys were not the answer on the roster. Need to get guys that understand the league and it's toughness factor; get guys that understand how I want to play; numbers at other schools don’t necessarily translate to Big East. He said plenty.

I'm not sure what else he could say publicly. He's about to go on the road recruiting and will need to answer some very difficult questions. If blaming NIL and the fans gets us a decent team next year, have at it.
