Seton Hall 3 point defense is atrocious but Willard refuses to get out of the matchup zone. Play man to man. Officiating is horrendous for both sides. Too many ticky tack fouls. Ish looks much improved. Gordon is going to get a lot of minutes. Whitehead turns the ball over way too much.

I had an epiphany on the way home.

The reason our defense has sucked for now going on six years is that Brainiac insists on the team using a double-secret Rick-rolled sliding rolling double-inverted disguised matchup zone but has never figured out how to teach any part of it that sticks!!!!

It all makes sense. It cannot possibly change. I got it now.

It's just the first game and hope there is improvement over the next few weeks. If not we are in for a long season.

Anderson looked totally lost and you have to give Singh a pass as I am sure he was nervous playing his first game. Nzei and Sanogo played well but need to work on defense. Sonogo could be a player if he continues to improve.

Boudreaux (?) was going inside and out and at times seemed unstoppable.
