Can we sign someone please!!!

I see more tweets that we reached out to a player… yadda yadda

Never saw a school take forever to announce or the inability to close a deal.

Spending this much money each year to field a competitive roster (and we can assume it will escalate) is unsustainable for many schools. For sure, it's beyond Seton Hall's reach based on our giving track record.

Why do I get this uncomfortable feeling that it’s only the true Pirate fans who feel a sense of urgency about signing players and the Administration does not.

The entire Carver High team is in the portal. I think Coolidge could help at the 5. Thorpe is a good 2 with Budd. Salami off the bench to cause chaos. (only old school Pirates will get this!)
Didn't coach Reeves move on and take over at Iona?

it's mind boggling to think we don't have enough bodies to field a team. Are we even looking for High school kids anymore?

5 starters at $1M each =our entire NIL.Guess we'll raid the intramurals for our bench players.
I just don't understand why teams don't try and build for a zone defense. Some schools will only be able to buy 2-4 good players. Why play them 26-30 minutes when you can find a way like playing zone and play them 32-36 minutes by not killing them on the defensive end.

There can be no sense of urgency if The Program (Sha) is not prepared , has no plan that would be subject to review on execution.

I am sorry. This is getting to the point of being so absurd and unsustainable.
Another note..if a starting (pretty good) SEC qb is getting 2.4 mil..some of the college basketball numbers (which I have been saying for awhile) are not legit

And we don’t have even near 5 million at all i don’t know why that number keeps popping up

Tough to gauge The Administration at the moment. Looks like they have their own set of internal issues which I can't give an educated opinion on. I do agree with you that the state of the Men's Basketball Program along with the rest of the SHU Athletic Programs from a funding standpoint better not be ignored.

The pendulum will slowly swing. As a first step, there is a dire need to regulate , control and license those whom claim to be Agents --whom are openly preying on Kids by charging outrageous fees and providing self -serving "advice".

Last year excuse was no money, practice facility not ready yet, late to the market due to NIL run. Fast forward….. alleged 5M available, facility is open and we were so bad that we were in the market since January…. What do we have???? Nothing outside of a record number of tweets saying that Seton Hall has reached out…

Easter bunny better be bringing some major players otherwise another season on retreads or low D1 players Sha thinks he can work with. Then they all transfer again . Rinse and repeat!

Sha and Felt better get their shi! Together and fast.

This disaster was begat from anti-trust claims. I fear no part of it will ever be put back in the bottle.

Better to get it right with good players than to rush and get the wrong players.

Unfortunately I don't see Seton Hall involved with any players that would change the program, just average at best players demanding above average pay.

We see professional athletes threatening a lockout, schools should threaten a lockout. There's really no alternative for the football players. Basketball can go to Europe or G League, but not all of them.

Unless they are playing possum its hard to believe they did not zero in on one star player to come to The Hall. The Red Alert should have gone off after the loss to Hofstra back in November. Modeling contracts to siblings cant be off the table until possible gov legislation. Survive and Advance.

This is incorrect.
Athletes in north american leagues are unionized workforce through cbas with ownership/league. Athletes can't lockout but can strike however a league's owners can lockout the players
