Sina Considering Three Schools

Starting to think..... he leaves---has left---- goes somewhere else, sits out a year..... and completely disappears.

And by the way, I am getting sick of hearing kds/coaches referred in the plural: THE Sinas, THE Gibbs, THE Hurleys.

For some reason completely forgot about the fact he has to sit out a year. I know that's supposed to serve as a deterrent, but there's some advantages to it too. You can work on your game and academics in your off year and then have an extra year of eligibility where you can transfer again to anywhere you want and take some token grad school courses and focus on playing during your last year of eligibility. i.e. SG

Maybe he quit because our coach is clueless when it came to motivating a team and that the coach could not also not manage a locker room where this stuff comes up in locker rooms across the country. Combine the coaches incompetence with Jaren's trigger finger to change schools and there you have a mid season quit job.
Yes. But the coach can be clueless and the player still stays. Some coaches are always clueless but very few players leave mid season. That we have had two starters do it says something, though Cosby's career at Illinois shades his story.

Great kid. Probably getting more attention due to talent at his former high school team than other transfers are getting.

Him getting bullied by IW and his posse is absolutely true 100%.

No it's not! I'd be careful Boatshu; this sounds like libel to me.

I suspect that bullying like beauty can be in the eye of the beholder.

I also suspect that one's sensitivity is a function more of the thickness of one's skin than of anything else.

The old saying is that there are three sides to every story: yours, mine and the truth.

Were the "objective" sources physically present?

Would the locker room "banter" at Gil St Bernard's even be recognized as "banter" in a Brooklyn city high school locker room?

What was Sina's complaint in 2014?

What we ALL can agree on is that this coaching staff seemed to be oblivious to Sina's perspective, for whatever that is worth.

Oh one more thing: Jared might have become a reasonable role player as a spot-up shooter --- despite no real supporting evidence I saws this Spring. BUT IMHO few SHU players --- let alone starters --- in my memory had slower feet with matador tendencies than Sina. Just my opinion.

BTW didn't he recently get a second --- "native grandson" --- passport to further his European basketball prospects?

I wish him well wherever he goes.
