For some reason completely forgot about the fact he has to sit out a year. I know that's supposed to serve as a deterrent, but there's some advantages to it too. You can work on your game and academics in your off year and then have an extra year of eligibility where you can transfer again to anywhere you want and take some token grad school courses and focus on playing during your last year of eligibility. i.e. SGOriginally posted by MBF72:
Starting to think..... he leaves---has left---- goes somewhere else, sits out a year..... and completely disappears.
And by the way, I am getting sick of hearing kds/coaches referred in the plural: THE Sinas, THE Gibbs, THE Hurleys.
Yes. But the coach can be clueless and the player still stays. Some coaches are always clueless but very few players leave mid season. That we have had two starters do it says something, though Cosby's career at Illinois shades his story.Originally posted by HALL85:
Maybe he quit because our coach is clueless when it came to motivating a team and that the coach could not also not manage a locker room where this stuff comes up in locker rooms across the country. Combine the coaches incompetence with Jaren's trigger finger to change schools and there you have a mid season quit job.
