Yeah I was thinking the same thing. St. John’s fans no where to be found and now I’m seeing brand spanking new St. John’s hats popping up around the place.

They’ve always attracted bandwagon fans in droves because they are the default team for all those fans who root for NY sports teams but don’t have an allegiance at college level. But amazing what Pitino has done regardless. Because they don’t call a sellout a “selllout” when just their lower bowl is filled. Which isn’t a sellout. It’s when they have like 19,000+ or whatever the Garden holds.

if 150 tickets are available and all are sold its a sellout isnt it? i lived in nyc during the 80s and they were a huge story. and now they are again. it is good for the BE like it or not.
