Hey, Willard, Skinn and staff beat Miami last year in an early season tourney, but it looks like we may lose out to Miami and Larranga, Skinn’s former coach at George Mason, in the sweepstakes for Earl Timberlake.

Skinn was one tough point guard, but Larranga, his former coach from NYC who played at Archbishop Malloy and Providence College, will likely deal a blow to his alma mater, PC, and SHU, who were both recruiting Timberlake hard.

Pretty ironic - Skinn was the point guard on the George Mason team coached by Larranga when that team made an improbable Final Four run that ended on April 1, 2006 in Indianapolis when they lost 73–58 to eventual national champion Florida in the national semifinals.

Skinn is one tough recruiter - I expect he will be winning many future recruiting battles.
