You seemed to be placing blame on Fauci because of an increase in the prevalence of food allergies, so I am trying to understand where that is coming from.
I'm not blaming him for food allergies, but what's he done for all immune deficiencies. I'm asking what has he done about them? In 40 years it continues to get worse and worse. Auto immune diseases like autism are sadly on the rise. What's he doing about those types of diseases?
Have you looked into his research and publications?
His background for the last 40-50 years is in infectious disease and you think he should have solved allergies.
I just don't understand where your criticism comes from other than it must be his fault because he is an immunologist.
He is the director of NIAID. What does NIAID stand for? When you answer that I'll say the answer is yes he should be solving allergies.

It was going somewhere not where you wanted it. You asked a question what does Fauci have to do with allergies as if he has nothing to do with them. You clearly didn't know he was the director of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Disease. Now that you do, it's not a good look for Fauci as allergies have grown exponentially under his watch.

No it's just silly. You have no idea what his impact was on allergies. You have no idea of the studies that were occurring while he was director. You have no consideration of the fact that the prevalence of allergies was increasing prior to Fauci becoming director.You just see an outcome and say it was under his watch with no regard for if any of the actions he took at director had an actual impact positively or negatively.

What I do know. If his time ended today as director of National Institute of ALLERGIES and Infectious Disease ended today, we are not in a better place than when he started in a lot of very critical areas.
bottom line if I need to have my hands on documents that Fauci did to criticize him, you should be held to the same standard on Trump. I’ll concede but don’t blast Trump anymore unless you have all the documentation on your desk.

I responded that he has been reasonable in how he handled this pandemic and you responded by saying that we can't trust him because he was the director on the NIAID and more people have allergies today.
I think that is quite a stretch without understanding if he actually had an impact on outcomes there.
Almost like he was able to take in new information and use that information to create a new assessment?

It seems more that he has lost favor with people when he started taking the virus more seriously.
That is why I am trying to understand what specifically people are taking issue with.
Saying he is much less reliable is fine, but do you have an example?

Reasons for my strong opinion.
Every year.
1. Autism is on the rise.
2. Food allergies on the rise.
3. Seeing more kids with inhalers at sports games.
4. In general disease has gotten out of control in this country.
5. We never hear about any holistic approaches. Has anyone discussed natural antivirals like oil of oregano on Covid?

Could just as easily suggest he got rid of the aids epidemic... but I wouldn’t do that because I have no idea of what impact he has had there. The first time I heard of him was a few months ago and have been following him since then.
I think he has done a decent job, and I thought he was doing a decent job even though I disagreed with his early assessments.
To put this in sports terms...PJ had to change the course of the program. It may have taken time, but eventually it got better. Fauci has been there 40 years where’s the reason to hope? Because he’s a calming presence at the podium? No thanks.

Dr. Tony Fauci, MD is credible in my book. I will continue to practice what DR Fauci has asked Americans to practice. Just stay home! I haven't left my home since March 16. My friends who are risking their lives are buying groceries for me and I am thankful for you them. I will continue to stay indoors until this pandemic is over. I will then gradually go back outside with a hazmat suit on.
I’ve been complaining about the health of this country on different threads for years. That’s a fact. The last 2 months hasn’t changed my opinion one bit.

many of my issues with the health of the country fall under NIAID but not all of them. All of our leaders, medical and political, are at fault and Fauci is one of them.

What are you talking about. Your boy asked me what Immunologist Fauci has to do with allergies? He is the director of NIAID. The A stands for Allergy. I don’t blame Fauci for the entire countries health but he’s a part of it. So are the politicians. So are the pharmaceutical lobbyists. So are the food lobbyists. But when the hell as Fauci stood up to those people. Guarantee he hasn’t because he would be fired. He’s part of the problem.

Please. I have just as much inside knowledge on Fauci as you have on Trump. I see the results and I’ve never heard of different approaches to combat allergies, intolerances and chronic disease that our country has. Give me a reason for hope. Give me a reason to believe he’s doing a good job. I’ll listen. As I’m sure you know I was a big fan of our player development when our team was losing. I saw reason to be optimistic. I haven’t seen anything from our leading doctors or politicians to make this country healthier. And Fauci is in that group. Give me a reason to be optimistic.
Very bad decision, Mr. Governor! A new wave will begin in NJ from the middle of June forward because of this decision. I have been spot on about the virus and I will continue to be. When we look back at the end of June this will decision will be looked back at. STAY SAVE LIVES! So we can have a memorial day next year.
