Other than watching our game to see if Willard actually installed an inbounds play for the 2015-16 season, there's some decent games on tonight, including two peculiar ones.
ESPN preseason #1 Maryland opens up tonight against a cupcake, but it will be our first look at Diamond Stone and the rest of their talent-laden squad. Tune-up for the major showdown Tuesday with Gtown which I cannot wait for.
To coincide with Veterans Day for some reason, Gonzaga is playing Pitt at a base in Japan. And in another interesting matchup Texas is playing Washington in....Shanghai, no typo. Odd. The gimmicky games get more absurd every season.
I'm curious to see Marquette open their season tonight against Belmont. Belmont usually can upset almost anyone, and it will be our first look at their big time recruits Ellenson and Cheatham.
Tomorrow we'll see Providence & Harvard. That should be close as Providence will have alot to work through after losing so much, despite Dunn coming back. Harvard is without their star PG Chambers, but it's early so I think it will be a tight one.
