Message for college players- Listen to NBA Scouts/ Do Not listen to agents. They are not truthful and do not have your best interest. ( Someone stated- if you are a Freshman, Soph., Junior and Not invited to the NBA combine, then you need to run back to college.)
Sad to screw with a kid's future like that.NBA scouts lie even more than agents.
Are you saying the lie in public to throw off the competition, but they have truthful conversations with agents and players?NBA scouts lie even more than agents.
IW was/is an NBA player and had the skill set. Delgado does not. Love Angel but he's a 1 trick pony and he's not Dennis Rodman and the NBA "ain't college"... It's apples and oranges. It makes this so much harder to swallow than iw's decision. IW knew what he was accepting and we had to deal with that. Angel's being sold the idea of something that isn't realistic and is going to be left disappointed.
May not? LOLJust ridiculous. No one is picking this guy in Round 1. He may not even get drafted. This is the deepest draft in like 10 years.

Guaranteed contract worth millions?? HA, that is for 1st Rounders which he certainly is not. He will be lucky to get drafted. It's also important to note that if Delgado has been told he's going to get a guaranteed contract (regardless of the league) worth millions then it's good move.
It doesn't sound like that is what's happening. It's also important to note that if Delgado has been told he's going to get a guaranteed contract (regardless of the league) worth millions then it's good move.
I pray that Angel has a long and successful career but I'm not buying that. Top NBA talent (1st round talent) is recognized very early on.More salt in wounds - from Adam Zagoria:
NBA scout on what if Delgado stayed at Seton Hall: 'First round if he keeps improving.'
What does he lose to stay another year? Everything to gain - degree, senior year with great teammates, make history with school that helped develop you. Why can't we have a kid like Dunn - wanted to stay and get his degree even though he was a projected lottery pick as a junior and his own coach was worried about a reinjury if he returned as a senior. This one stings!
He risks a career ending injury.. He's not dumb whatever he makes this year wherever he ends up will take his family out of poverty. He doesn't want to miss that chance.. Look at the minutes he would have been asked to play this year.. Good chance he can get injured. What does he lose to stay another year? Nzei is a different kind of person than Angel. He will probably stay with us all 4 years. And next spring Nzei will leave as a graduate senior and transfer to a school that's a lock to get to the Tourney. It's not SH or the staff it's what has become a ritual in college BB and each year the number increases of that type of transfer occurring.
We are so unlucky. You have players in our league with legitimate NBA potential returning to school (i.e. Brunson) and our best player leaves us to play euro ball. Don't get me wrong, it's his life and he can do what he wants but as a fan it sucks to see your best player leave when he has 0% chance of sniffing an NBA roster next year.
