Just saw that headline. .Another new trend in college sports programs adding a new position maned by an active NBA player.

I give him credit for donating back to his alma mater. He's creating a ten-figure fund so they can be competitive in revenue-sharing.

“The Davidson experience is top notch,” Curry said in a statement. “My journey from when I got to Davidson in 2006 to now demonstrated that I had the opportunity to play basketball at the highest level, got a great education, an amazing network through the Davidson alumni and continue to wave the Davidson flag. I want very talented, high-character student-athletes to have that same experience.”

This guy has surpassed $1B in career earnings playing basketball. He could donate enough and let them fund their entire NIL off the interest for decades.

Wild.

Assistant GM. Please: nothing but a token position to make people remember he played there. He has as much responsibility with that program now as I do.

I doubt he is going to be giving out t shirts at an NIL event, but I suspect he will have a role that suits his stature, including likely NIL donation generosity.

Beyond sour grapes. Good for Steph. Wish we had someone with 1/100 of his appeal.
