I'm sure there's plenty of things on twitter that people can find and post on it. But they don't...wonder why?
Neither do I. I only see things that people send me. Can't read replies. But it's a wonder others haven't posted about this who do have Twitter.

social media is a cancer in general. you have the government going way out of bounds and other people posting way out of bounds things. its horrible.
i did laugh at the rural person in arkansas believing anything posted there. but then again this has been an issue from the beginning of the country with newspapers, letters, magazines etc. govt was worse back in that time. how do you stop it?

First you get rid of bad journalists. I would say they are the root causes of social media bad information. What accountability do they face? The same you get people out of practicing law. You get them out of the industry. This lady from PBS should be barred from journalism for making up Trump told Bibi not to do a ceasefire. She claimed she read it on Axios, which never had that in a report. If people want to lose their jobs over this, watch how quickly it cleans up.
You also put a disclaimer when you log into these platforms that not everything may be true.

it happens on both sides. one side tends to believe more absurd things than the other (like the vaccine is a microchip that will kill everyone at the press of a button etc). but it happens on both sides.

Of course. These people would vote for serial killers over Trump. The only two people in history they might vote for Trump over are Hilter and Putin. That's not a guarantee either, but other than that, vote against Trump no matter what.
This statement in the article makes the whole article ho-hum. Big headline but not much substance.
