Take this for Data

We also have an extremely unhealthy and obese society compared to others. Vast majority of fatalities are from nursing homes. We also need to do a better job of caring for our elderly.

You’ve been paying attention to my posts the last 5 years. LOL Ditch the high fructose corn syrup, Make the salad and veggies on your plate bigger than the steak on your plate 5 out of 7 days per week and see the difference. Live it up the other 2 days per week. Nobody likes chicken wings and scotch as much as I do but once, twice a month is enough after the age of 25

And you can’t eat a Whopper and Super Sized Fries with a Lipitor chaser and expect all to be good.

The food pyramid was a government sham that’s had a brutal effect on our health.

To counter the original point this stuff weakens the immune system. Combine that with the idea of Lysol everything down most people don’t build up a tolerance to germs. Lysol, high fructose corn syrup = big profit.

We have been antibiotic crazy as well. Recipe for trouble.

All of that may be true but not the reason we have more deaths here. Other countries deal with similar issues.

We have more deaths because it hit us fairly early so we lacked the knowledge and ability to mitigate the risks, and we also lacked the cultural acceptance that this was actually a threat.

wow so sanitizing and cleanliness is a weakness

antibiotics are likely prescribed too much by pcp who make a macro diagnosis however they are warranted at times as well...so hall85 gonna say medical professionals prescribe painkillers and antibiotics because they are in bed with pharm groups

i dont buy it...was in a stuffy room, had a lot of nasal discharge...sprayed and ran air filter, no more nasal discharge

if you have a car and you chose to not change the cabin air filter and the engine air filter for years, how do you think the hvac and engine would run over time?

Dumb comparison. Should I get a new air filter for my car and new lungs for my body?

you don’t buy the idea that we’re getting cleaner and cleaner while allergies and autoimmune disease are on the rise? Maybe when Fauci realizes it 50 years from now you’ll buy it.

Our health and the way we care for the elderly had a lot to do with it. Culture and the way we are organized also had a major impact. We have/had the knowledge.

I have an immediate family member who has gone through hell with autoimmune issues the last 9 years...i dont believe this happened because there was sanitation and filtered conditions in the member's presence at all times.

Would you go eat a meal at a restaurant where the scent is that of a sewer?

You obviously didn’t read the articles. Nobody is suggesting that. Nobody is suggesting bathing in your own poop. Nobody is suggesting inhale smoke all of the time. Nobody is suggesting buy property next to a garbage dump. Whatever extreme you want to take it to next nobody is suggesting. Read the articles.

Hi all. Please be advised that I have been warning this board for months about this virus. I have been called out out "fear mongering" and "Jerk off" for saying the truth. The virus is still running rampant through this country. And to continue my prediction unfortunately the worst is still yet to come this fall/winter with the incoming flu season and covid 19. The state will close again late September or early October.

The U.S. is sixth in the world for cases as a percentage of population.

I don't trust China's or Russia's numbers.

US - 0.0386%
China - 0.0003%
Russia - 0.0063%

The state will close again late September or early October.

I agree with this. Will it be a necessity or something that is done for political purposes with an election a month away is the real question. I foresee no college athletics so this will be a popular topic all year.

It has always been political and will continue to be until the orange man is out of office.

Yes and this is why I am saying this. But people on this board were calling me names when I was saying these things. Unfortunately the truth is coming out and it looks like people on this board are realizing what I have been saying is correct.

Americans are selfish and if a pol decides to enact something to try and change things, the right calls him names.

You think americans will snap out of it? Fat chance...very fat.

Hi @Seton75. If Biden becomes president an executive order will be put into place for all Americans to wear masks in public. This will last post covid. Would you be happy with this? This is what will happen. The CDC will be coming out with guidance that says masks will prevent future respiratory infection and a future pandemic. I have been spot on about my predictions about the virus so far and will continue to be with this.

Biden has also mentioned this. Please see below. Very scary stuff

Are you saying the politicians on the left are the only ones trying to enact something, and all name calling only happens from the right? Both sides suck, but get a clue that the left calls names too.

Murphy closes indoor dining before it ever began. Going to be a long year.
While not a fan of Murphy overall, I have been pretty supportive of most of what he has done during pandemic, but this indoor dining change seems arbitrary since numbers continue to decrease and all opening steps have been met and almost retaliatory for images of crowded outdoor bars.

You dont get do overs on this, you got moron people going out to bars...i expected this sadly

I would have hoped by now that even without a vaccine, we would have really combated this with disciplined social distancing and mask wearing but we are too loosy goosy a society and the rotten apples ruined for all....

Yes the looting and protesting surely had a worse effect than a few packed bars.

If you look at the data/graphs it's quite obvious that the protests a few weeks back created the surge in cases we are seeing in certain places today.

Crazy crazy surges gooig on right now. And everything I have been saying is happening. The WHO came out with a statement came out today saying the 'Worst is yet to come". I have been saying this all along but people on this board called me a "moron". Who's the moron? The worst is yet to come folks. The state will shut down again in September.

I don’t disagree... but that doesn’t really explain why the surge is occurring in Florida and Texas but not in other states where there were large protests like NJ, NY and Minnesota.

I’m not biased on this one. They’re all morons.

jeez man...Bad take if I’m following you right. Some things are worth fighting for, even during the last Democrat’s. I wish everyone at my & other protests was wearing masks, but the largest civil rights movement in decades is coming out of all this. I’d describe it as a gamble some were willing to make, and I wouldn’t call those that were fighting for their rights “morons” bc some didn’t wear masks or try & distance as best as possible. The changes were seeing all over are amazing, and they’re just a start. Do you at least agree with that, while I guess you’re also frustrated enough by the lack of caring about CV to call them morons?

Are those of us who have been going to mass to worship our God morons?
