Cruz came out swinging at both the Biden Administration and the incoming House by demanding that their first job in January should be filing impeachment paperwork against DHS Secretary Mayorkas. His handling of the southern border has been a human rights catastrophe and the media refuses to acknowledge or cover it.

He invited anyone to come to Texas for a ride along and within an hour you will come across some trying to sneak inside the country. He claimed to have seen proof of hundreds of corpses along the border collected by farmers and land owners.

Asked whether he was ruling out a run for President in 2024 he said he was focused on helping Walker in Georgia next month. The lackluster GOP results on Election Day could be blamed on multiple people but none of it should fall on him. He could not think of anyone who did more for Republican candidates than himself and doesn’t know what else he could have done.

He wanted the most conservative yet electable candidate running and admitted that those weren’t who were nominated by the party. Additionally, Senate Republicans did not do all they could to submarine the Biden Administration over the last two years and its why he was in favor of voting for new leadership.

He shrugged off having ay effect on what Trump does since he is going to do whatever he wants to do. He appreciates that some of the other speakers at the RJC are positioning themselves for a 2024 run so Trump won’t walk away uncontested.
