The current ages were established in 1983! perhaps no good time to increase age but let’s get real. Life expectancy is up since then, population is up, spending is up, and so on and so on

1983 is forty years ago and life expectancy is but one factor- why shouldn’t the age be increased? Anything the GOP does is wrong, racist, ageist, whatever-that’s all I hear from democrats these days. ZERO substance

In addition, reproduction rates have slowed, so fewer people to pay in to Social Security
