Saw it last night and came away very impressed. Christian Bale should get strong consideration for an Oscar. I think the movie took a lot of liberties from the true story, but none-the-less was very powerful. I worked for a guy for a number of years who grew up in Dorchester, MA who made it out and did very well in the business world, but his family wasn't too far off what Mickey Ward's was like, in fact, his two sisters could have easily played any of the parts of Ward's sisters...lol. Definitely a movie worth seeing.

so many interesting movies out right now i need to see. The Fighter (Bale apparently is the smart choice for that supporting actor Oscar), Tron, Black Swan, The King's Speech, Harry Potter, 127 Hours. there's alot to check out!
