That was gonna be my guess. We played them at Sovereign Bank Arena in Orr's first year. I don't know that we ever actually got down by 20, maybe. Rider had a stud on their team - the name escapes me. I keep thinking Jason thompson but he was much later.
monmouth was the only one I remember, first game at the Pru Center, went to OT. so that's my guess

I remember the game well but doubt I would have guessed it without knowing the answer beforehand.

I was at those games against Navy/UVA at the Palestra, and then went to Jadwin for the Princeton game ( I have vivid memories of Gonzo cussing out our fans behind the bench at the game, or something to that effect).
Thought we were on to something after that tourney win in Philly- Dave Leitao was the Virginia coach at the time, I believe. Turned out to be fools gold as usual.

I think it was against St. John's. Someone on our team (Gause?) put the ball in the wrong basket, which was the low point, but it also started the incredible comeback.
Whoops, didn't see the answer there. I thought the SJU game was the year before, anyway - 2006? I am pretty sure we were down 20, though it could've been 19.
I never once felt out of a game with those Gonzo teams... But I also never once felt that a lead was safe. LOL.
How about the Texas Tech NIT game? That game was over before it even started.
Exactly. Crazy chaotic basketball. Sometimes awesome, sometimes maddening. Probably better off playing all ranked teams haha.
