Trump is on his way to the hospital. Wonder if his medical insurance is paid?
Trump being taken to Walter Reid Hospital. This is not good for Trump. I believe that Trump’s health has deteriorated and this is not being done as a precaution as the White House is making it out. Like I said before, this is a dangerous place for him to be and his life is at risk. I surely would not want to see him die over this. As a country we all should hope he recovers.
There is no way to know for sure if going to the hospital today is good or bad. He is the President and his health demands the best available care, which in this case is Walter Reed. Since he is still (we believe) relatively early in his illness, it is better to hospitalize him now rather than wait until he possibly gets sicker and has to be sent to the hospital. The optics of that scenario would not be good for the country.

Why? Easy. It signals adult behavior to American citizens. Decorum, norms, and civility should take priority now more than ever. And that means extending it to people who have no interest in returning it.
Defeating Trump and Trumpism, which I 100% support for the good of this country, by a wide EC margin is a necessity to make it impossible for Trump to cheat the election.
To do so will take the Biden coalition and that coalition needs to go beyond moderate and even progressive Dems. Enough of the true indies, R leaning indies, moderate/small r GOPs must be onboard. They’ve been steadily joining the coalition and they generally hate Trumpism and prefer decorum and norms.
It is not only appropriate, but wise for the Biden camp to temporarily pause attack ads while the President is laid low. Trump would never do it, which is precisely why Biden should.

A virtual debate is pointless. There is no reason not to do it in person if he is no longer contagious. If he is, push it back a few days until he's clear.

Why is it pointless? I have had at least 5 virtual meetings per week since March. My kids are receiving their education virtually (schools will be open in one month from now)

Though, I recognize how fortunate we are that my wife is able to help them throughout the day. I would imagine you are correct where both parents work or are less involved.
