The president had a speech on covid today. He did not talk about the Afghanistan crisis at all and did not answer any questions. Not great optics.

Courageous Joe took softball interview with George rather than face the press corps.Joe said withdrawal without chaos was inevitable.In fairness he probably forgot he said direct opposite on July 8th and they have this thing called video tape and networks are playing that tape.When NYT is publishing criticism of a Dem you know that is crisis.
