All I am saying, is that If you are saying “follow the science” then science doesn’t pinpoint when a fertilized egg becomes a human. You can believe what you want, as can others.
What kind of life begins at fertilization of two humans? I mean if you want to argue with science for the hell of it, go for it.
Why use the <1% examples of rape and severe malformation to make your point? What about the millions of abortions used as ex post facto birth control? The vast, vast majority.
Sure science does, as soon as the fertilization produces cell with 46 chromosomes. What else is it, a head of cabbage? You're not a scientist, and you were in PP for OCP's 20+ years ago, you're not exactly speaking to your strengths, here.

I just don’t believe that is a scientific claim that an embryo is human. It is more of a philosophical / spiritual belief which I do believe. I just respect that someone else may not believe the same.

I'm pro-choice and vote for both parties at the local and national level, depending on the candidate. But I absolutely respect the views of those who are pro-life, even if I disagree with them, and my "pro-choice" has limitations when it comes to later stages of pregnancy and/or other circumstances. I know many D's who are pro-life and many R's who are pro-choice. There are also folks who are pro-choice with certain limitations. And than there are those who believe it is an issue that should not be resolved in the courts, regardless of how they feel personally, but rather at the state legislative level. I find that one's religious beliefs and how devout they may be to a particular faith often drives one's views on this. And I don't think it is nearly as big of an issue to many folks as the politicians or media make it out to be, because it is pretty certain that if Roe was ever overturned, many states (including NJ) would take legislative action to permit abortion within the state, which is how many folks who are against the Roe decision as a matter of constitutional principle believe it should be and would be handled.
Not everyone fits in the neat box mainstream media portrays.
