This happens in NJ disgraceful

What further facts do you need? A racist is a racist is a racist. Too bad the trainer didn’t have the balz to put the scissors in the refs hands and tell him to cut the kids hair if it was so all damn important. The humiliation this boy was forced to endure at the hands of this bigot is disgraceful. He needs to be disciplined or better yet suspend him from reffing the rest of this year.

Exhibit A

Yup, disturbing and sick that a kid could be forced to stand and be humiliated like this. Why the hell didn’t his coach step in? Why the hell didn’t someone step up for this kid? No, they allowed him to be bullied by a ref.

Exactly. Don’t you want the answers to that? That was my first question. Why didn’t the coach step in.

The coach and the trainer didn’t step up because they both lacked the balz to support this kid who had broken a rule that his dregs were below his ear lobe. The three of them disgust me. They all allowed this kid to be shamed. Not hard understanding why they all stood silent. The win was the important thing not the kid standing in total humiliation. Yet the kid endured and went on to win.

You know all that...right.

I know the ref is a racist. That’s all I need to know. The ACLU of N.J. tweeted “How many different ways will people try to exclude people from public life without having to declare their bigotry? We’re sorry this happened to you, Andrew. This was discrimination, and it’s not OK.” This is an ugly incident that has no place in our world whether it is sports or academia. I think the reading comprehension problem is yours.

You know the ref is a racist...lol

This isn’t his first incident, but I guess you know that. By the way, he was suspended today by the NJ Refferees’ Association.

“Incident”...you have all the facts in that? Or just this story? He is not allowed to ref until they review all the facts. Makes sense to me.

The incident was when he used the “n” word to call out another ref in 2016. I’m surprised you missed it. The Record, The Ledger and NJ News, Channel 12 carried the story.

I didn’t miss the one incident but there seemed to be a lot of information not reported from that one incident...except for the one thing that was reported.

Just read the article.
Yes, just read the article. As more information and FACTS come out, we will get the whole picture. A teammate said he had the wrong equipment. Teammates (including African American ones) said it had nothing to do with race. Teammates and coaches say this is a normal occurrence and part of the rules. Teammates said Johnson doesn't want any of this media spotlight and didn't go to the match this week because he was concerned about the media attention. That's a disservice to this kid who made a decision for the team strictly because of the rules of the sport.

Curious how many people of color live in your neighborhood. Town? 10 mile radius? FWIW the ref is disgusting but no worse a racist than those who choose to live in all white enclaves and throw stones.
