Ken Dilanian with NBC News reported a "purge" was underway that could see the heads of up to 20 of the FBI's 55 field offices relieved.

Very disturbing that people are being fired for their connection with Jan 6 investigation. Talk about weaponizing the DOJ and FBI. Also, if anybody doubted that Trump had nothing to do with the January 6 insurrection, the pardons and the firings sure seems to prove that what happened was exactly what he wanted.
This is not what justice looks like. He is tearing apart the American institutions that have held this country together most of its existence bit by bit.

At some point the people in these institutions need to look in the mirror, understand why the public (on both sides) have lost confidence and trust in them. Too many examples of people in these agencies politicizing issues. You think Alvin Bragg and Latisha James don’t have political agendas? And, yes this is the retribution by Trump.
First, Bragg and James are state politicians who got elected. These are not career prosecutors or FBI agents who work in the federal government. throughout their career in Democratic and Republican administrations. These are professionals who normally lean conservative.
Second, these professionals are being fired for doing a good job on prosecuting January 6 criminals and traitors.
Third, people have lost confidence in these institutions because Trump. He is tearing them down. Not because it’s justified because it suits him. This weakens the country and law enforcement. We are going to pay a price for this. It will costs lives.
