AG Barr trying to force out the US Attorney of the Southern District of NY shows what great lengths this administration will do to protect Trump and his allies from criminal investigations. The US Attorney is a Trump appointee. His name is Geoffrey Berman and he has refused to step down or resign even though the Justice Department announced his resignation. Kudos to Berman who is doing his job and speaking truth to power. Oh yeah, Trump want to replace him with a person who has never been a prosecutor.

Had the same reaction. Epstein deserved the Whitey Bulger treatment. Some of it was hard to watch and it does make you wonder about how many were involved and why Ghisleine is walking around free. He was a sick bastard.

She is 100% as bad and as guilty as Epstein. What credibility would she have if she turns government witness? You want her to catch a break for her crimes to go after the Johns? That’s punching down which the Feds like to do but I do not believe that’s the right way to prosecute.

Her credibility would need to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt but I hope all of the people involved with trafficking 14 year old girls for sex on a private island to be held accountable.

I understand the point, but these are not common everyday "johns". We are talking about possibly some of the wealthiest, most powerful and influential people that did something that is beyond despicable.
