So I haven't really posted in a while since I got married on March 21st... Thanks to Dan and everyone for your kind words!
So I met a few people and spoke with some people at the Party and I just wanted to pass on my thoughts.
Harolds Karlis - Very nice young man. I told him that I wanted to thank him for everything over the past 4 years and wished him the best in his life after SHU (bball or business world)... He was very humble, he thanked me for my words and he also said that he "truly thanks" everyone who has supported him in his time at SHU and he's loved the experience.
Tony B - He had tons of media to deal with that night, but he gave his time to any and all fans who wanted to speak to him. I spoke to him, explained how I became a fan of the Women's team, etc... and when I told him I couldn't make the game due to my wedding, he said "WHOA! YES! HERE ON CAMPUS?!?!?" and then we spoke for a few minutes about my honeymoon, my job, my wife's job, where we lived... He's great! No other words to describe it.
Pat Lyons - I introduced myself to him, he immediately asked me if I read his response to my email, which I did. We then spoke briefly about the Women's team. He emailed me the next morning and thanked me for my support of the women this season, attending the event and for introducing myself to him.
Honestly, all three seemed like great ambassadors and representatives of SHU.
