Title IX does not apply to athlete pay

Maybe. It's also the right call. The Sports that bring in revenue should have it shared with their players proportionally. It becomes a problem only if a Women's team that creates revenue isn't getting their share.
No not a maybe...it is fact...trump admin changed what biden left with.

Do you think we’re so stupid and you’re so smart that we don’t realize it’s due to change in administrations?

just like the sports that had the athletes who weren't compensated for NIL should proportionately be paying the settlement amount.

Makes sense.

Oops......guess not

SHU will be mostly taking care of the two BB teams. Let's hope this rule sticks.

It's true that Trump appointees overturned what Biden appointees had issued days before leaving office, but this is not a ruling that is binding on anyone. It is a non-binding legal analysis. The only thing that changes here is which side the Justice Department will take if/when there is a Title IX suit.

It will start to this year with the new WBB NCAA Tournament deal which will mimic the men's formula. Obviously the revenue will be much smaller and not sure if the Big East will distribute evenly or UConn will get lion's share.

Per Seton Hall's government filings:

Revenue:
Men's Basketball $8,607,797
Women's Basketball $3,726,920

Seems strange to me.

Hoping it's the second one.

There’s just no way women’s basketball is bringing in almost 4Mil in revenue. Need a new president, a new board and apparently a new accounting firm
