Transfer Joson Sanon chooses St. John's, Rick Pitino

Kind of a strange choice for Rick, who has spoken about wanting seasoned upperclassmen, but I’m guessing this means the end for Wilcher.

Be surprised if they totally moved on from Wilcher. Bet they give him a chance to compete for minutes. But who knows these days.

I'm sure $$$$ had nothing to do with his decision-
lol.

Though I don’t know why people feel compelled to mention $$ with them constantly but no one else. I guess it’s some mental thing that doing so somehow reflects a non-concession that kids otherwise want to play for them and RP. They aren’t doing anything different than what everyone else is doing or trying to do.

I'm sure it had nearly everything to do with it.

I'd be surprised if that doesn't drive the decision 99% of the time.

I'm guessing you would do it for free though.
I believe he’s saying it because there are some posters on here that believe a coach can “lower” a college player’s price.

Kinda silly that some would believe that, but it’s been written on here a couple times.
