Troy game thread

BTW at least 5 whitehead assists dont count because of misses or fouls

Very frequently. And guaranteed louder than 99% of the people in attendance. Didnt even get off work until 7:30 today.

You dont have to like what I say but its true.
I don't dislike or disagree with what you post generally. I'm as angry as you are about the direction of this program. Aside from your insane posts claiming Gibbs elbow to archi's head weren't intentional, I'd say I agree with most of your sentiments, if not the manner in which they are delivered.

Whitehead is not a PG and is playing out of position there and let's recognize that doing so is affecting his play. What is disappointing has been his 3-point shooting and In the last 5 games , including tonight , here are his his numbers:
Troy. 1-6
RU. 0-5
GW. 1-6
Miss. 3-7
Ga. 3-10

That adds up to 8-34 a 23.5 % shooting from the three .

Someone needs to have a serious sit down talk with Whitehead to get him to play within the team concept.

Well he won't be a 6'3-6'4 SG in the league. So he better learn to be a PG.

One of these games Whitehead is going to shoot over 40 pct. I can feel it.
He always takes the most difficult shot. He will never shoot 40 percent in the Big East or against any quality competition if he doesn't learn to ALWAYS look for the highest percentage shot, whether for himself or a teammate.

No he needs to get pulled from the game for not playing within the team concept. NBA dreams get crushed if you continually spend 20 minutes or more on the bench for not playing within the team concept. Short term it could hurt the record. Long term it could make for the best Seton Hall basketball in 20 years. This team cannot be great without Whitehead as it's leader but obviously continuously playing through mistakes isn't solving the problem.

As of now IW is behind 1) KC, 2) Desi and 3) Angel (when KC & IW decide to actually give him the ball within the offense).

20 shots to score 20 AGAINST TROY?!?!

Whitehead was really good in the first half... not so much in the second.

But he hit a winners 3 at the end (even if it was his only one). He hit a winners 3 at the end vs Georgia too.

Not close to being an NBA prospect, but hes a winner.

I love his talent, just want to see him become more efficient and team-oriented.

And after the 3 he dribbled the ball off his foot with no pressure on him and it led to a turnover. Cause he wanted to dribble in a cool way.

Sooo......
