I watched a little bit of them play against Nevada and definitely don't think there's nearly as good or disruptive as VCU was, but they look solid. Anyone watch them? Won't be easy, nothing is for Seton Hall.

I noticed a couple of familiar faces there: that spunky guard Jason Edwards who played us in the NIT at Walsh when he was with North Texas and Chris Manon who almost became a Pirate this offseason. They're improved with the new coach and a bunch of transfers, including the 5th-year guard Hoggard from Michigan State who was all over the court last night in their 73-71 win over Nevada.

Another likely Q2 opportunity.

Lineup should be:

Jenkins
Coleman
Tubek
Toumi
Ehreriene

Dual
Aligbe
Okafor

No reason to extend the minutes beyond that.

But it won’t be

So, quick turnaround for both teams. I'm sure it won't be easy. I could be wrong but they did not look like a very big team, similar to SHU. Hoping the team gained confidence on the offensive end.

SHU has to improve the ball handling ASAP. Also, the free throw shooting has really derailed the output and bottom line. The team could be 5-0 despite the roster issues.

According to KP, they are 341st in minutes continuity, yet 76th in D1 experience. Vandy is 32nd in bench minutes, 309th in average height. Conversely, Seton Hall is 248th, 96th, 117th, and 45th in those same categories.

They appear to have a good offense through 5 games: 50th in efficiency, best turnover % in the country, 17th in 2PT conversion, lots of spacing and driving as the A:FGM and 3PT has not been there so far.

They're also 5-0 against the 322nd rated schedule, but the win over Nevada was a good one.

at this point SHU is the underdog in every game they play. the liklihood of them crashing and burning seems higher that other teams.

no expectations for tonight. we get to see if last night was a fluke or real.
