Vintage Willard conf road game vs marginal opp

Talk to them not me..I don’t know what to tell you

I spoke with Larranega directly in June and when they were at MSG..both times he complained about their “war chest” in comparison to their peers

My point is not we are fine..we are atrocious,,my point has always been basically every school complains about their NIL

Also no one has answered me…does it benefit us at all that we don’t even run a real high level d-1 athletics department…would that benefit us? We really only have 1 mouth to feed that needs about 6-8 players to compete
we dont run a real high level d1 sports department because we are dirt poor and have tuned out leaders. real benefit there!! you're really cracking the code.

That’s incoherent

But the point is Maryland, UConn, Michigan, Rutgers have much larger NIL but also have worry about trying to be competitive in other sports like lacrosse or wrestling (which is becoming increasingly more NIL)

We offer almost no sports with little NIL influence couldn’t that help us

You’ve really gotta stop making this “complaining about NIL” argument in every post you make. You have to have 50+ posts regarding this.

Do you think pro teams like the Rays, A’s or Marlins in their markets really think they can bid on the players the New York, LA and Chicago markets can bid on?

Since they don’t complain about not bidding on those players does that invalidate their lack of resources?

Do the big boys complain? Probably. I’m sure Yankee fans complain about Soto leaving.

But it’s just a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitle different when you lose on a player like Soto and turn around the sign Max Fried, trade for Bellinger (because you can add $20+mm to your payroll) and can take flier on Goldschmidt for $12.5mm.

it’s just logic that the difference between complaining for small markets up against the big dogs is in different stratospheres.

Can we end the Willard threads PLEASE!!! He's moved on, so should we. I enjoyed his time here but it's over. I wish him well. He left the place better than he found it, but goodbye.
