Let's go back to March 31 when our "esteemed" governor and the equally incompetent NJ health commissioner released their models for this spring/summer. Under the "worst" case scenario, the models said we'd peak in case numbers and hospitalizations right this moment -- between 5/18 and 5/20 -- with over 8,000 daily cases, 3,600 hospitalizations and 2,000 in ICU. Hospitalizations wouldn't fall below 3,000 until mid-July.

Even the "moderate" scenario showed nearly 4,000 daily cases at this point and nearly 2,000 hospitalizations. The actual numbers? 504 cases today, 782 statewide hospitalizations and 168 ICU. Not even close to either the moderate or worst case scenarios.

The entire worldwide lockdown of 2020 was based on a model from Neil Ferguson of the Imperial College of London and bogus information from communist China. During the bird flu scare of the mid-2000's, Ferguson claimed it would kill 200 million people. He wanted to close schools during the swine flu of '09-10. The man had been wrong countless times over, yet governments around the world listened to him leading to the disastrous policy decisions of 2020.

The bottom line: Models are nowhere near perfect and policy decisions should not be based exclusively on them as we saw in 2020 and early 2021. Nobody in the corporate media has called out the governor or the health commissioner regarding this completely bogus fear-mongering. Wonder why?
