As we anxiously await an official announcement from Angel I want to take the time to give next year's squad a vote of confidence. Losing Angel hurts real bad but there is still a lot of talent on this team. Desi, Powell, Deeno, Ish, Nzei, Cale, Sandro, Walker are 8 highly talented players and a great rotation. The search begins for a madison jonesque big man but if there is anything I have learned from watching this team the past 3 year its that they LOVE playing with a chip on their shoulder. And when Delgado announces he is leaving, every single person (besides us pirate fans of course) are going to count this team out and place them toward the bottom of the big east and I believe the team will thrive off that. Deeno, Desi and Ish are going to be hungry this year and if they take the step forward I am expecting then there is no reason this team cannot be just as good as the teams these past few years.
