I have a good friend, a fellow poster and a fine player for us in the 1960s. He and several members of his family will be making a long trip down from his upstate New York home to attend the Sunday, 11/15 Wagner game. He was very much looking forward to purchasing Seton Hall items in our bookstore that day for him and his family, but was surprised to find out that the bookstore is actually scheduled to be closed that day. I think the present decision to keep the bookstore closed is a bad one. I am certain that not only would he purchase items but so would many other fellow fans would want to do so as well. An all around good financial decision for all involved. I just sent an e-mail to Pat Lyons and Bryan Felt asking for their assistance in helping getting the store open on that day. I would urge other fellow posters to do so as well. Listed below are their e-mail addresses:

I agree. For many of us alumni this is the only time that we will be on campus during the season. Last year it was the same thing with many wanting to see what was available in the "closed" book store. It really should be open. I wonder if the management there even knows that there is a game on campus that afternoon.

I am very happy to say both Pat and Bryan jumped on my concern very quickly. I got an immediate e-mail back from both of them indicating that the matter would be looked into quickly. Indeed it was - Soon there after Bryan again got back to me indicating that the bookstore manager had been advised of the situation and the bookstore would now be open on the day of the Wagner game from 12 noon until 4:00 PM. Major kudos need to go out to both these men for their prompt, outstanding act of customer service demonstrated towards me which is very much appreciated! GO PIRATES

I am glad they listened, but with ecommerce, it is less of a concern for me.

I followed your lead and sent an e-mail to Pat and was amazed that I received a quick response & that action would be taken . Maybe they realize that we matter & they might even make a few bucks in the process.
