As I see it

6-2 PG Carrington
6-4 2G Whitehead
(positions almost interchangeable)
6-7 SF Singh (if healthy)
6-7 PF Sonogo
6-8 C Delgado

IMO Desi.

I really don't like playing our only three guards major minutes. Foul trouble could become an issue in the end game.

Again it all comes back to why you wasted a scholarship on Thomas who can't play this season in a coaches 'supposed make or break' year. We have no depth at the guard position. Injuries, foul trouble, guards being burnt out in February because of logging major minutes, etc. It doesn't seem like Soffer is an option at all. To me, it's inexcusable to not have this addressed in the offseason.

The question I keep asking myself is whether we addressed our need at the guard position and the power positions with the two graduate seniors we brought in with Anderson and Gordon. While Thomas could have provided the answer at guard having him sit a year doesn't help us in a year where the program needs to show major improvement.

We had a great frosh class and could not build on that by getting any of our early targets for another big (and we didn't have enough targets imo). Was very disheartening to me. I agree on Thomas, very odd. And after last fall's disappointment, we get a terrific kid like Myles.

It's less about Thomas to me and more about, how do we have a roster so full of reported talent that can't play at a competitive (winning) level.
