Dems can't get out of their way on this one. They were alnost 100% ALL of them politicians and dishonest media were complicit in validating the narrative with their blatant lies..... they look foolish denying that they mafe a mistake. Typical circular firing squad.... each blaming someone else..... they have proven to be very cringeworthy. All they know ow how to do is resist and f-bomb.
After the special counsel's report came out on Biden, it was clear that Biden could not run again . I remember posting that he is done and expected that he would announce that he would not seek the nomination. That never happened until after the disastrous debate. If he bowed out in February, Dems would have had plenty of time to get a new nominee. But, the Dems and Biden's inner circle completely screwed it up.

Where was the accountability of his inner circle? The accountability of the cabinet? The accountability of Democrats? They all saw and knew he was incapable of executing the duties of the job. And then they covered it up with lies. “He’s as sharp as a tack”, “The best Joe Biden”. What a part of the accountability of the press. Jake Tapper was complicit in the cover-up and now he’s exposing it? Oh the irony.
Let’s face it, if he didn’t self-destruct on the debate stage, they would’ve stood behind him right through election night.
So please understand, when those same people claim Trump is an “existential threat”, how can they be taken seriously? They defended and lied about an incapacitated president.
It’s trying to hold on to power. The inner circle is completely to blame. I agree 100%. They really hurt the Democrats. Not going to an open convention To figure out the nominee was a mistake as well. We were left with an awful candidate. Accountability? What is accountability? The inner circle lost their jobs. What else should happen to them? Are you suggesting criminal charges? The other thing about dementia, is that he can be lucid at times and off at other times. If the inner circle only exposed others to Biden when he was lucid, you can be fooled.
However, At the same time, they were right about Trump.
He is tearing down the institutions of this country, defying Supreme Court orders, incompetent handling of the economy and has been an utter failure on Ukraine. Chaos is not a way to govern.
I think losing their jobs is not about being accountable. At the very least someone should have triggered the 25th Amendment. They knew he was incapable of fulfilling the responsibilities of the job and they created a cocoon to prevent others from seeing it.
And nonsense about others seeing it. We could see it; it was obvious. It became all about stopping Trump and propagating a lie.
This is your opinion which we know that you hate all things Trump. Nothing is being torn down. Consolidating agencies? Once again EVERYONE has stated there is a lot of fraud and abuse, but both parties have let it go. Trump is doing what he campaigned on. The voters will decide (or idiots like Shri Thaneder) will keep running the impeachment play (which even most in the party is pissed off about.)

At this point, we need to stop letting media focus only on the general, non specific Trump=MUST be bad, wrong, illegal, etc. Rather need to highlight facts that undermine his policies. Keep it factual

Trump says DOGE is great, caught fraud and waste. No they didn’t. SHOW the people the very important expenditures that are 1000% justified
Should be very easy to give proof that diversity and more hiring are key to important government roles from air traffic to military so doing well there but room for improvement
Dems are doing a good job on messaging the bad POLICIES behind immigration and tariffs

That’s your opinion. Two books have been released and there has been a public reaction. Biden continues to do public appearances that just reinforces that he is out of it and there has been a public reaction.

I don’t think the cancer thing will impact his legacy. I’m more concerned about the various other things that are lodged against him
Agree…The cancer diagnosis is will not impact his legacy either way.
The two negatives that will always be there are:
- The visible mental decline that began well before the 2024 election. He was clearly not fit to serve every day. Now the narrative has changed and that he had some bad days. You can’t have bad days as president and then decide to run for yet another term.
- The accountability of his Inner Circle, Democrats and the MSM for hiding or dismissing his diminished abilities.
I think this kind of coverup was a disgrace and who did it hurt? The Dems.
However, Biden has stage 4 cancer. When asked about if they had any acomments on Biden’s diagnosis, The comments made by Trump and JD Vance were horrific to continue to attack a man who is now facing cancer. Have some class and say we wish the best for a speedy recovery and leave it at that. Then to attack the man is pretty low.
Nice deflection . Trumps first response was exactly the compassionate response in what you stated. We all hope and pray that he is OK.
But we can separate Biden, the patient and the peculiarities of the announcement that was made, and when it was made.
It’s not like a PSA test is anything special. If you get an annual check up with a full blood panel that’s normally included.
Metastatic prostate cancer appearing suddenly, especially when the president is getting, or should be getting complete routine physicals. Especially when he’s at such an advanced age.
And finally, making the announcement that the books on his rapid medical decline gets published and released. It’s just another example of the lack of transparency and cover-up by his inner circle.
So we can be thoughtful about Biden yet critical of the lack of accountability at the same time.
I agree. As far as his legacy, this career public servant should have the best legacy ever! I’m more concerned about this reportedly false narrative that Biden admin covered up Covid vax risks, Afghanistan withdrawal, hunter and his (not at all) corrupt family and other stuff

His administration didn’t “cover up” the vaccine risks. We didn’t know what the risks were then as it was a drug that was fast tracked through the system in order to get it to the market. If anything, they greatly oversold the safety and efficacy of the vaccine. We are starting to see the negative effects of prolonged lockdowns, mandates and school closures. Both parties politicized the pandemic, but the party in power should share most of the blame.
Biden’s public service career is mediocre at best. Many examples of him flip flopping, flat out lying and misrepresenting his background. Look up what Robert Gates (who served multiple Presidents) thought of him. A career .200 hitter.

Well, since you are now a cancer expert, let me tell you, my stage 4 cancer diagnosis showed up despite me going and getting tested for various drs- Several times during the year I was diagnosed. Was my drs covering up my cancer??
And no you can’t separate the man and the politician. It’s the same person and he is facing death. Have some compassion. Those people talking cover up of his diagnosis is pretty disgraceful. He stepped away in the summer. There was no reason not to disclose the diagnosis if he knew it during that time.
I am no expert on cancer, but I’ve spent 45 years in healthcare and have a very good trusted network of experts, including my wife who served in a career in clinical operations primarily in oncology, and helped Shepherd several drugs to market through clinical trials. I don’t know your personal situation, but do wish you the best outcome in your treatment.
Yes you can. I can be compassionate for Biden and question the motivations of the people surrounding him. The same people that pushed a mentally fragile man to run for reelection when he was in no condition to do so.
