Katz doesn't have a vote in the AP. Neither does Gary Parrish at CBS. But he doesn't have us in his top 25 and one. Said a lot of nice things about last Tuesday night. His and one is playing in Newark tomorrow though.

But how about Dick Vitale? Is he national? Or respected?

They know the sport inside and out. We're tied for 26th on both of their ballots.

You’re right Gary Parrish has St. John’s ahead after losing in Creighton. Parrish never likes the Hall.

We’re just splitting hairs. They should be in and at #28 there’s plenty of argument they should be. And yes national writers and contributors are all worth more in their opinion to me than locals who vote as such.

If a well known national writer has us at #19 you have weight in your argument
