What do you want to see in 2025?

I want to see someone become “the guy.” Coleman is the best candidate, but he still needs to assert himself more.

I'd like to see Sha commit to developing the younger players. Whether we keep them or not, develop them and continue to build your coaching brand that players can improve and you will develop their game here.

The one year players like Toumi and DAW are what they are - you are not going to change them. Make them role players and commit to the younger guys no matter what our record is. The only way we build a team for the future is develop the younger guys, try to retain them and pick up a few studs through free agency. And of course increase NIL.

From the SHU administration, do so much freakin more with NIL. It should be everywhere. Every small donation you can get can help. Start talking about revenue sharing and get a plan and make it public and market how much better its going to be. I still don't see the commitment to NIL and player compensation through their actions. Get creative and find a way to free up some funds. You are either in or out. We don't have two feet in either the In or Out bucket.

And the Board of Regents have to stop F'ng up.

I’d like to win our buy games. That would be nice and a lot less embarrassing. I don’t like when my phone blows up because we lost not one, not two, but three buy games. Less of that. More beating who we’re supposed to beat.

The first thing needed to get anything we want to see is to bring in more money. We have plenty of administrators in the department but we're lacking business experience. Understanding that we can't afford to hire the needed experience full time, I'd like to see them put together a board of advisors with a focus on revenue strategy. And not made up of large donors and long time boosters who think their opinions are important, I want people who actually have relevant industry experience.

I'd like to see a big time Hall fan hit the mega millions and an offense that doesn't take 15 to 20 seconds to make the first pass. Oh yeah and a new AD.

One more wish list item is to pull the "Sha's way" advertisement from the NBC platforms (and everywhere else). Not sure we want to be bragging about "cutting down nets" when the team has lost 6 of 7. Not quite "Bobby Gonzalez JAWS entrance music" level cringeworthiness, but it's pretty close.

I’ll keep it simple. There always seems to be injuries or absent players for practice. Sha has complained about this for consecutive years now.

So I’d like to see consistent attendance of all players at practice during the offseason and season

Less weave offense/ dribble handoffs!!!! So damn predictable and easy to defend!!

What happened to the high ball screens and getting guys down hill penetration against Rutgers?? I know Rutgers is not that good but offense looked completely different!

-Hire an offensive coordinator.
-Integrate the Business school (inc. the Center for Sports Management) and the communications school into the athletic department. Give students the opportunity to implement lessons taught in class, such as social media engagement and sports marketing, though working in-house with the Men's and Women's Basketball programs and the athletic department, similar to how WSOU allows students the opportunity to cover games. It's a win-win for the students, who will get hands-on experience and opportunities to enhance their resumes, and for the school, which will integrate new energy and perspectives.
