We have a generation of parents who raised their children to be selfish, coddled, and never had to face adversity so they don't know how to handle it. The kids don't know any better and just do what their told. They also have no appreciation or knowledge of history, just stuck with their heads buried in their phones.

The parents, and those who excuse the behavior, are mostly to blame. It's quite shameful.
