What Record Next Year Would Change Your Mind?

From another thread, I realized that there was a rather unhappy (but not unrealistic) scenario where the performance next year with a Willard-coached team was ***good enough*** that he could not (and probably should not) be fired.

I know that it's easy to say something like 'Sweet Sixteen or bust" - but that puts us dangerously back into the "Seton Hall just fired Louis Orr with a winning record - what a horrible program" area, one that we simply cannot afford to do (in my view).

So the thing is - how low can the barrier go such that YOU (yes you) would say, man, if he at least achieves that, we cannot fire him.

So - assuming a 30 game season (to make the arithmetic easy) - assuming that post season should be counted separately - what is the W-L record that you would tolerate such that you could accept him coming back for yet another season?

ps - I'm writing this thread to open up a conversation about the future, to avoid writing yet another "Fire Willard" thread and finally to avoid the suggestion that I am an irrational old man whining on a message board all day.

pps - LOL.

ppps - I'm thinking that 20-10 territory which likely makes us .500 in the BE for the first time since forever and at least an NIT invitation, I'm thinking that that W-L record would make it very very hard to fire him.
