When is the last time Seton Hall was +7.5 against a mid major?

Of all the teams in Charleston, VCU is probably the worst possible matchup for us due to their style of play.

Just win the friggin game and shut people up.
I agree. I believe SHU will probably lose because there just wont be enough point production. I think it will be a close game because The Hall will play intense defense. So, if one player or two can exceed our expectations then it may be realistic to take the game.

I’m not sure I would call VCU a mid major. They’ve been in the ncaa tournament nearly season since 2004.

If they’re a mid major, what does that make Wagner and Hofstra?

On that note, would it be better to be a program like VCU in the A-10. Or SHU in the Big East over the last 25 years?

Over last 25 years, Seton Hall/Big East without a doubt. Moving forward in the next ten years, answer to that question is very unclear.

VCU is at the top of the Atlantic 10. SHU near the bottom of the Big East. The point spread is understandable.

Well, with 2 wins against low majors and 2 losses against mid-majors, what did you expect?

Let's change that tonight.
Amen!

Always take the better conference IMO.

I have to think we will have bigger ,quicker athletes at most positions.
Wonder if Okorafor starts.
This has been mentioned on other threads, but is it possible for Okorafor and Erheriene to man the 5? It frees up Toumi to play the 4 with Aligbe. I did not see the last game but Okorafor and Erheriene combined for 15 minutes. Is this a work in progress? I view both of them as serviceable, 15-18 minute players. Too much to ask? Will they get exposed?

Also, I believe Jenkins played the point last year when Vasean Allette was dismissed from ODU. Sha is with these guys every day, I'm not, but does it make sense to try Jenkins at the point and move DAW off the ball? The longer we don't see Dual or Harmon, the more urgency to address the point issue in another way.

I welcome thoughts from the many here with greater basketball knowledge than me.

I think that is what we will see. I am hoping to see one center, Toumi and three guards/sf on the floor as often as possible
