We’re headed to one of the worst season’s for the Men’s Basketball team since maybe the early to mid 1980s I assume? We may have had a pretty bad year or two under Blaney.
If Pat Lyons/Brian Felt are treating this like a business and need to report to their CEO to explain what went wrong and how they’re going to fix/improve the situation, what would they say? Is it truly because we don’t have enough NIL $ to get the right players, or is that we’ve got a decent amount of $ but the way it was spent just wasn’t done well? Depending on what the best answer is, you then have a plan for what’s going to change and how you’re going to improve things, and set some expectation on how long it will take to turn things around.
So my question is; are we doing this? Yes, Revenue Sharing era is almost upon us so I’m sure that’s part of the solution. New Basketball Facility has been built, in theory most revenue should start heading to how we pay to get the best players possible.
As an Alum/Fan/PB & Onward Setonia donor, I’d really like to understand better what’s going to change. This is really in Pat Lyons/Bryan Felt and I suppose in the BoRs hands right now. Time to figure out the path forward.
