Who wins the big game Sunday?

I keep waiting for Villanova to break out, and they are tough at home. Based on their last game and our really poor and careless play v G'town , I think we bounce back and win in Philly.
We tend to play to the level of our competition.

Not really a fan of either team. With that in mind, I hope the 9ers beat the living piss out of the kansas City taylor swifts. My God, I was so sick of the chiefs and their whole sideshow, but once they hitched their trailer to quite possibly the most overrated, over praised, over honored, banal, average and milquetoast artist in the history of recorded music….it needs to stop. They need to be stopped. Just stop.

The only bad thing that comes of that will be insufferable 9er fans proclaiming that the prophecy is true, and Brock Purdy really is the Second Coming. That’s not gonna be easy to take. That is a slightly more desirable outcome, however, than taylor swift winning the Super Bowl. Plus, my folks grew up in The Bay Area as 9er fans.

I probably won’t watch the game though. First time since that Steelers/Cardinals Super Bowl. What an unappealing matchup that was. This is just as bad.

Not a football fan, but I'm sick of hearing about and seeing commercials with Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. Two insufferable people. Go Niners.

Tell us how you really feel, haha. I always find myself rooting for the Chiefs and the greatness that is Patrick Mahomes.

Chiefs. Lived in KC for awhile. Loved going to Arrowhead. Like College Game Day. Small market team.

My only prediction is that Taylor Swift breaks up with Kelce before the end of March and writes a bunch of songs about it and makes another billion dollars off them.

Maybe not. Her new album comes out in a few weeks followed by probably another tour so Travis is safe for another year.

I can't name one Taylor Swift song, but think she carries herself pretty well. The NFL and media makes it a sideshow and are profiting like mad I hear.

I don't follow the NFL much anymore but i would think this is the game most want to see.

This past week unfortunately makes me think a little less of her. Toby Keith was very much responsible for getting her career going in the early days. He passed away, no public acknowledgment from her? Just comes across as someone who forgot where she came from. Hope she did something privately. If not, to quote the legend himself, she needs a boot up her ass it’s the American way.

My wife watches the Grammy’s and felt the same way…apparently she had to present some award to Celine Dion (who is suffering from a terrible disease) and took heat for barely acknowledging her.

Then she stands up by herself singing along when an act is performing to draw camera attention,

She kind of ruined my relaxing cup of coffee the morning after the Grammy’s….lol

Mahomes is over exposed, but a natural on commercials: in the same category [at least] of Barkley and Shaq.

The more exposure an athlete or entertainer gets usually the less popular they eventually become.

Most people like to build someone up and then under scrutiny take them down. The more you win, the more hated you become. The more popular an entertainer becomes, the more she/he is ridiculed.

What happens is people start to look for any small chink in the armor and then use that chink as a means to degrade said person. I wonder how many of us could stand such scrutiny?

Me personally, I admire both Mahomes and Swift for what they have done and who they are.

I just hope it’s a good game, and everyone has a good time with friends and family. Just as I do most years unless I'm rooting for the Giants or against the Eagles / Cowboys.

Not really into Taylor Swift, but I’m enjoying that my daughters are interested in football now. lol
