Who ya got

70 points was a key number for Iowa last season.

25-9 when scoring at or above 70.

1-3 when scoring below 70.

78-75 Hall

Not quite the dominating perf at Iowa 6 years ago but solid win for the Hall nonetheless.

I don’t see many teams scoring in the 80s against our D this year. The “second team” if you want to call it that is just as tough as the first defensively. Issue is, for now, we won’t score in the 80s against better competition either.

Hall 65-60

Let’s not get too carried away by over analyzing the first two games.

Iowa 40% from 3 and 25 assists per game are impressive numbers in averaging over 100 ppg. But those wins were against the 293 and 319 rated KEN POM teams to date.

If Iowa stays hot from 3 and continues to successfully share the ball to create open looks, then the game is played in the 80s and we lose.

Or you could see the extreme opposite, such as the rock fight they had at Rutgers last year when they lost 48-46.

I am going to lean on the edge going to 10 players brining intense defensive pressure nonstop throughout. And if we make free throws like we did against St Peter’s, then hoist the colors.

Hall - 72
Iowa - 66

Ref's stink, Samuel should of had and 1 (called charge), missed many shots inside (letting Iowa get away with fouls-body checking, shoving and hit on the arms). Iowa is not that good, we are playing terrible
