With Yetna and Odukale maybe a tossup. Without them or at least one of them....

Xavier 77
Seton Hall 71

This one on the road doesn't feel good.Boun,Nunge,Jones,Freemantle, etc way too much for us.

Xavier 78-SHU 65

This one can get real ugly-- who's going to keep Freemantle & Nunge in check much less Kunkle & Boum ??? Hell, they have 5 guys averaging in double figures - and you have to figure some bench player will go off for a career high point total.
That said, I hope the Hall can prove me way wrong.

Boum worries me the most. He could drop 30 a night if he wanted to. Can’t see Richmond having to defend him all night plus handle the scoring load. Really need Femi back to have a shot.

I actually like this matchup for The Hall on paper bc I think SHU can be physical with them. But beyond the matchups, SHU plays dumb, sloppy basketball far too often.

Looks a lot like the Rutgers pre game thread, law of averages kicks in tonight🤞. Dawes and Harris are not this bad, lots of clean looks with Richmond on the floor drawing all the attention. Seton hall steals one 67-65.

I was going to pick the Hall to lose but by less than this morning's 7.5 point line. But considering everyone who posted here on Sat. picked us to win, and all but the insightful Halltheway take Xavier tonight, I'm going with Halltheway and against the usually poor judgement of this board.

Hall 70
Xavier 67

I think Xavier is a little soft and am hoping for another monster game from Richmond.

We have won there 4 years in a row, I believe. They are the 2nd best team in the league. We are 8th or 9th. Xavier by 10.

Tonight will tell us a lot. It could be a season of one game up and one game down. Seton Hall playing competitive and some of the struggling players improving could be the best we can do. Not impossible to win but,

Xavier 75
SHU 66

SHU 72
Xavier 68
For some reason SHU plays well at the Cintas and hopefully most students will have left for the holidays. Similar to when we played at Maryland. They are not good defensively so hopefully Kadary can have his way and stay out of foul trouble.

Can’t picture many wins in the big East. Especially after our best player dominated and we still lost

Too much pressure on me , my friend, lol... pick with my heart not my brain.

I fear we get the ball shoved down our throat inside the way PC did. But, hey, I thought the same thing going into the Rutgers game.

X is better than PC on offense, but they are not as physical. So maybe we have a chance.

Wish the PC v. Marquette game were on FS1 before ours rather than UCONN-G'town. Marquette is only a .5 pick at Providence. Bet that will be a good one.

Will now do this after every game.

Piratz 71-65 and Halldan 77-71 in a virtual tie for best prediction
