Game's not until Thursday but let's get a lot of opinions.

Cupcake city is over. Now the Pirates move up a weight class. But is it really that far up?

Don't get me wrong VCU is good and to date clearly better than the Pirates. But maybe Saturday we finally saw a glimpse of what this team can do.

I am going with the upset and expect a tight game.

VCU 61

Tough game. Looking to see improvement on offense and if the D will hold up against better teams.

Critical first game of an MTE. Win it and the weekend is a success; lose it and the weekend is not.

Seton Hall has just played terrible offensively so far but great defensively albeit against much weaker. VCU is good on both offense and defense.

Going to have to go with VCU and their great band over Seton Hall 66-59. If Seton Hall ever played to their potential they could certainly win this but without Dual and Harmon, depth is non-existent.

They do have an excellent band. The Hall played them in this same tournament the year after Shaka took them to the FF and beat them in a great game. I usually don’t pay attention to a School’s pep band but they were exceptionally good.

Tempo and transition are the keys in my view.

We have to dictate the pace, just as we have done in each of our games so far. I think if VCU can force an up-tempo style we're going to have issues keeping up.

Saturday was the first time we were able to get easy buckets off of our defense. It would be helpful if we can continue to do so. On the other hand, we have to limit VCU's ability to get out in transition, something we've been good at against our other opponents to date.

Playing strong defense is a given. If we don't, we don't have the offensive firepower to overcome that.

Until further notice allowing 65 or more points is a death knell for us.
