I was confident that the Hall would take this game. But then I watched Georgetown manhandle Creighton and now I just do not know.

Breaks my heart but I have to give the nod ever so slightly to the Hoyas.

This GT team just blew out Creighton and beat Syracuse at the Dome.

GTown 74
SHU 66

Their freshman center 6'10" 255 lbs. is averaging 15 pts. and 8 rebounds. Is from Trenton and said we either came in late to recruit or no offer at all. What is wrong with us?.Understand we signed Goodwill but please no comparison.

Not saying SHU should win, but this is not a typical Creighton team Georgetown beat. They have a number of questionable losses.

And Syracuse is not good

Neither did Rutgers. Let’s tell the whole story. Still disappointing.

Full story also includes that based on funds, we need to be ten times better than RU finding under the radar talent. When we compete for players with RU we lose because of funds so we need to win on the players they’re not in on.

This game could go in many directions. Its a true measuring stick as far as where we may be.. Hall will still struggle to get in to the low 60's. The crowd? If Gtown gets going early they'll win. I think the Hall just gets by.

Hall 63
Gtown 62

Georgetown, 67-62. Better talent in defined roles. Have momentum. We are the total opposite and have been dead as a doornail since Monmouth with the only close game being the turnovers and missed FT's Rutgers had.

Hope to be wrong.

Agree.

Here are the problems:

We are playing at what is really a neutral court no matter how you frame it. So no real home court advantage.
We are on a 3 game losing streak so no positive momentum.
The students are probably not going to be there in a big enough way to provide much vocal support.
G-town is not that bad and they have won 2 in a row.

Given all of that I will have to pick Gtown by 10. 75-65.

In the immortal words of Yo Adrian: WIN

The light switch we’ve been waiting for finally turns on. Hall by 10
