My guess would be the prodigal son but who knows maybe that is what is frying Joe’s brain or maybe Jill takes a hit now and then.As I am sure you know you go through screening when you enter house except family.members but I am sure DOJ will determine it does NOT belong to a family member whether it does or not.

Whoever it is (could possibly be Hunter), I'm sure the cover up/misdirection is already underway. They'll probably end up blaming a visitor on a White House tour.

Hunter aside, there are two issues here. First of all, cocaine is an illegal drug, so a crime has been committed. Secondly, if they were unable to identify the person who left the cocaine that demonstrates a very troubling security issue.

Can’t wait to see what the investigation comes up with.

“Cocaine discovered in the White House on Sunday was found in a cubby hole in a West Wing entry area where visitors place electronics and other belongings before going on tours”

So that would suggest it probably wasn't a family member.

Doesn't seem to be Hunter's anyway. Looks like he was able to get his through.

The White House offers West Wing tours now? That's interesting.... Was off limits when I once took a WH tour.

It’s likely that Hunter’s bag was somewhere else… is it really that shocking that some coke was found?

I had to laugh when I was at a meeting with the head of underwriting for Minnesota Life. He was taking questions from advisors about underwriting parameters and of course marijuana was a hot topic related to life insurance underwriting.

He said with 100+ people in the room, statistically speaking there were probably 2-3 of you upstairs bumping lines last night after the bar.

In the WH? Yes.

Only 2-3? I guess also geography related.

My guess is the Secret Service knows who it is and is doing confirmatory DNA or other testing. Have to think there are cameras everywhere in the WH.

Probably a staffer that forgot he had it in his briefcase.

People say they don't care about Earth rapidly warming but going Sherlock Holmes about cocaine LOL

seems that they can't really agree on where the coke was found.... library... cubby hole... public place.... now they say it was in a more secure section of the West wing where tourists are not allowed .......where the Secret Service found it should be the clearest and first fact established. Why the obfuscation? IMO Secret Service is being made fools of by the White House with all these changes.

politicians do a lot of cocaine. more adults than you realize do cocaine. that being said cocaine should not be in the whitehouse. first person you should look at is hunter. but honestly it could be anyones given its popularity. id probably think hunter wouldnt leave a bag that wasnt empty.

As a person who worked as a kid in the restaurant business, toured one summer with a rock band and worked in finance, it’s really hard for me to believe someone would leave their coke in a cubby hole.

"Lack of evidence" in the most secure and highly monitored building in the country. Yeah, right!

So basically anyone can leave a bag of ricin in a cubby in the WH and it would go unsolved. I’ve got a bridge to sell you…and you wonder why people are cynical about the Secret Service.

I’d certainly hope they would spend far less resources on investigating cocaine compared to ricin though.

So they shouldn’t care about cocaine being in the White House?

Not the first or last time there will be cocaine in the White House. Should they care? Yes. Should they look at cameras to see who dropped it? Yes. Should they be testing the bag for DNA? Meh… possession of cocaine is a misdemeanor in DC. Not really a big deal outside of a political argument.

When was the last time cocaine was found in the WH? Nothing from checking cameras? As I said, it gives the SS a bad look.

Not a big deal? The President of our country lives in the White House. It should have impenetrable security. To halt the investigation is ridiculous except it shows they know who did it. Corrupt government from top to bottom. We are doomed, it appears. And worst of all, Trump appointed Wray and Milley, his biggest mistakes.

He recently admitted that Wray was a mistake by him.

Not firing Fraudci asap was an even worse blunder

Beyond protecting the president, the Secret Service has a robust investigative organization which operates worldwide with extensive forensic capability.

It's hard to accept that they would close this investigation after a few weeks.

If it were something dangerous to others, I'd agree with that.
In all honesty though, why would a small amount of cocaine be worth that effort?

I'm not saying that to protect anyone. I think the video I posted above is likely showing Hunter taking a bump on camera.

Would you be so cavalier about caring of an investigation if coke was found in a cubby at your child's school?

And especially when the reported location of the cocaine changed three times.

Lol.. As if it was found at the white house day care? Absurd comparison.
Good effort trying for the emotional angle bringing children into it for no reason. You should be a politician. You're a natural.

First of all the place where it was found was changed a couple of times.Second coke not the issue, the fact it could have been anthrax or some other lethal substance is the issue. Why was nobody interviewed. Why was investigation only 10 days. You get the clear conclusion WH wanted this to go away quickly and SS complied. It it wasn’t Hunter who had chops to bring coke into WH.

They detect for bio weapons. They don't for drugs.

Why was nobody interviewed.

Because it's a small bag of cocaine and not worth the effort.

Why was investigation only 10 days

Because they didn't need 11.

You get the clear conclusion WH wanted this to go away quickly and SS complied.

The easiest way this could have gone away would have been to have a fall guy say it was theirs and pay them off.

Lol…Nice deflection. You are the one that is saying it’s not a big deal. I was just personalizing because I know you don’t have WH credentials:).

Doesn’t matter. School, WH, place of work. You investigate given the tools you have.

I was just personalizing because I know you don’t have WH credentials

Then the natural line would have been to my office which my answer would be the same.

Not really that surprising in jobs where people work a lot of hours. Not condoning, but that's the reality. Millions of people in the US use cocaine.

We don't need to clutch our pearls because politics is involved.
